I’ve been drawing all my life, starting when my parents first bought me some of those “How to draw animals” books. In high school, I discovered painting and went on to study art at Edinboro University of PA. I eventually left there to pursue other interests, and later went back to college for foreign languages.

I opted for translation jobs rather than commercial art, and continued painting in my own time. I’ve also done portraits, websites, sculptures, and fanzine illustrations. While I also enjoy painting animals, my favorite subject is still the human face, in all its variety and expressiveness. Oil is my favorite medium, though I do a lot of graphite drawings as well. I’m starting to get used to making digital art, but for me, nothing will ever replace traditional media.
