It shames me to say I didn’t really touch paints for ten years after studying art in college. Not because I don’t like them, but because pencils are more portable and less messy. This way my first attempt after all those years to use acrylic paint. 8×10 canvas. I couldn’t find a tiny brush so I used a toothpick to paint his eyelashes. While it doesn’t look like the original picture (his head was tilted a lot more) I think I managed to make it look like him in the end.
